In U.S. Immigration, the spring time is a busy period as beginning April 1st, the H-1B temporary worker visa lottery begins. This is a very exciting time for our Los Angeles immigration attorneys and a very exciting time for foreign worker applicants hoping to secure a nonimmigrant H-1B visa to work and live in the United States.
We have noticed, however, this year that the Labor Condition Application (LCA) certification stage has been a little unstable. We have reported that we have not received some email notifications when our LCAs are certified. We have noticed, however, that the certified LCA can be retrieved by logging into the iCERT portal on the Department of Labor’s (DOL) website.
Some users have received emails from the DOL stating “due to an unusually high volume of submitted cases, one or more Labor Condition Application cases you submitted recently was certified but the courtesy email informing you of the certification was not generated”.
