H-1B Cap for FY 2015 Has Been Reached!

Our Los Angeles U.S. Immigration lawyers have just learned that USCIS has reached the H-1B statutory cap. United States Citizenship and Immigration Services announced yesterday that they have received a sufficient number of H-1B petitions for the fiscal year of 2015. The limit of 20,000 H-1B petitions filed under the U.S. advanced degree exemption has also been reached. The remaining H-1B petitions received will enter into the H-1B visa lottery program.

H-1B applicants can expect to receive notice of a decision by USCIS sometime in May or shortly thereafter. If you have any questions regarding your pending H-1B nonimmigrant worker petition, please do not hesitate to email or call us at (213) 738-8700 for a FREE consultation.
