Our Immigration Lawyers in Los Angeles want to remind current Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) beneficiaries seeking to renew their DACA grants to do so in a timely manner. Currently, USCIS strongly encourages you to submit your renewal request between 150 and 120 days before the expiration date of your current DACA grant.
The expiration date can be found on the Form I-797 DACA Approval Notice and on the Employment Authorization Document (EAD) card. Filing for renewal during this window will minimize the possibility that your DACA will expire before you receive a renewal.
USCIS has a current goal to process DACA renewal requests within 120 days of filing. However, if your renewal request has been pending for more than 105 days you may submit an inquiry about the status of the renewal to USCIS.
