Our Los Angeles immigration attorneys are encouraging eligible Haitian nationals who wish to re-register for TPS to do so before Friday, May 2, 2014, as this is the deadline.
This re-registration period is only for eligible nationals of Haiti who currently have Temporary Protected Status (TPS) and haven’t already re-registered. If you fail to re-register before May 2, 2014 you are at risk of losing your TPS and employment authorization. Soon after re-registering for Haitian TPS you will receive a new Employment Authorization Document (EAD) valid until January 22, 2016.
