National Visa Center Immigrant Fee Processing Errors

The U.S. Department of State’s National Visa Center (NVC) is currently experiencing some technical difficulties for the Consular Electronic Application Center (CEAC). This news comes as a minor hurdle for applicants seeking to apply for Immigrant Visas (IV) abroad to enter the United States as Lawful Permanent Resident Green Card holders. Applicants using the CEAC system to fill out and complete Form DS-260, the Immigrant Visa Application, may experience error messages or have their information not be saved into the online system.

Applicants have also reported to the National Visa Center (NVC) that Form DS-261, Choice of Address and Agent form as well as the online payment processing system may also be experiencing errors.

We encourage applicants to reach out to our Los Angeles immigration attorneys if you have any questions or concerns about delays with your immigrant visa application. We offer a FREE immigration consultation and are available now.
